Terms of Service
The rules for using CowTalk accounts, communications and wallet features.
1. Agreement and eligibility
These terms are between you and Cowtalk Inc. By using CowTalk you agree to these terms, the Community Guidelines and applicable feature rules. The Privacy Policy describes data handling. You must be at least 18 and legally permitted to use the service. If you do not agree, do not create an account or upload content.
2. Your account and responsibilities
Provide accurate account information, protect your verification codes and sessions, and use only accounts and wallets you control or are authorized to use. Do not sell accounts, impersonate another person, evade a restriction, automate abusive registrations or manipulate referral rewards. You are responsible for the instructions and content you submit, subject to applicable law.
3. Prohibited conduct and content
Do not harass, threaten, defraud, incite hatred or violence, distribute unlawful content or spam, expose private information without permission, infringe intellectual property, distribute malware or deceptive links, or organize abusive groups. Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming and trafficking, is strictly prohibited. These rules apply to private messages, groups, meetings, profiles and public content.
4. Wallet and transaction risks
CowTalk provides software interfaces, not a guarantee of asset value, liquidity, execution or returns. Digital assets can lose all value. Network fees, slippage, failed or irreversible transactions, malicious tokens/contracts, bridge and third-party failures, and loss of private keys may cause permanent loss. Verify the network, address, asset, amount and permissions before approving. Never rely on a chart or quote as a guaranteed execution price.
5. No investment advice
Market data, rankings, community messages and other information are for informational purposes, not personalized investment, legal or tax advice or a recommendation to buy or sell. You make your own decisions and should obtain qualified independent advice when needed. CowTalk is not a bank, and displaying a token is not an endorsement or a representation that it is safe or lawful in your location.
6. Membership, points and third parties
Prices, payment asset, duration and applicable terms are shown before you confirm an order. Network fees may be separate. Points and contribution rewards follow their published rules and are not a promise of cash value or investment return. Third-party services, app stores and wallets have separate terms. Statutory cancellation and refund rights, where applicable, are not excluded.
7. Intellectual property
You retain rights in your content. You grant us only the rights reasonably needed to host, process, transmit and display it to provide and protect the service. Do not upload content you lack permission to use. CowTalk software, branding and original materials remain with their respective rights holders. Report infringement through /support with the work, location, basis of ownership and a contact address; do not publish sensitive evidence.
8. Suspension, moderation and appeals
We may restrict content or features, remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and preserve or report evidence when reasonably necessary to enforce rules, protect people or comply with law. A report alone does not establish guilt. We consider context and available evidence, provide appropriate notices unless unsafe or legally prohibited, and accept appeals through /support. Account freezing is not a substitute for honoring a verified deletion request.
9. Changes and termination
Services and features may change, become unavailable or end, including due to network, provider or regulatory changes. We give reasonable notice of material changes where feasible and required. You may stop using the service and request account deletion. Ending service does not reverse past on-chain transactions or eliminate obligations already incurred.
10. Limits of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, services are provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, error-free data or a particular outcome. We are not responsible for losses caused solely by third parties or instructions outside our control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights, fraud or other mandatory protections. This section is not a waiver of your statutory remedies.
11. Contact and disputes
Contact cow@cowplatform.com first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms are governed by Iowa law, subject to mandatory law and consumer protections that apply where you live. Disputes may be brought before a court with lawful jurisdiction; this does not impose mandatory arbitration or waive rights to an otherwise competent consumer forum. Material revisions will be published with an updated date.
